Guests will have two opportunities to enjoy wonderful South African foods and wines.  From 5:00-6:30, guests will be treated to passed hors d’oeuvres such as bobotie rolls, lobster Mombosa and black bean cakes on the patio during the silent auction.  From 6:45-8:00, dinner guests will enjoy entrees such as South African prawns, piri piri chicken baked in banana leaves with coconut almond sauce, Jollof rice and crisp plantain strips, and a medley of delectable desserts.

Fine South African wines will be specifically paired  to complement each food served at Celebrating Hope.  All of the wines served are being donated by Worthwhile Wine Company, which imports award-winning, sustainably produced South African wines to the United States.
